Satellite Radio Rumoured For iPhone 5
The next generation Apple iPhone rumors have been quite accurate in the past, and so it's interesting that one of the rumors around the next Apple iPhone 5 is that it will include satellite radio as a feature. On one site, iPadzz, there is a report that Apple has recently acquired a patent to bring radio to the iPhone 5 via AM, FM and satellite signals.
Another British website dialtosave.com is reporting that the iPhone 5 will be a full touchscreen device with NFC integration, and built-in FM radio. It is widely reported that Apple filed patents for radio mapping that would allow allow the devices to receive all three types of radio signal. Apple has not publicly released any details of the next generation iPhone ahead of its debut sometime this summer.
